Moreno Elementary Named to 2009 "Star School Honor Roll" - Only MVUSD School to Receive this Honor for Three Consecutive Years

Once again, thanks to our teachers, staff, parents and students for making our school one of the best examples of educational excellence in the state! For the third year running, Moreno Elementary School was named an “Honor Roll Star School” by the California Business for Education Excellence Foundation and Just for the Kids – CA, one of only about 200 schools in the state recognized with significant populations of socio-economically disadvantaged students that have shown a significant increase in grade-level proficiency and achievement gap reduction over four years for all subgroups.
