15TH ANNUAL PARENT AND STUDENT EDUCATIONAL SYMPOSIUM

Dear CAAP Supporters:

As we enter our 20 year celebration of empowering and engaging parents and students about the importance of academic excellence, we are looking forward to your continued support and information to ensure that our children are prepared to meet the challenges of living in a global society. We value our partnership and know that it is with the support of institutions and people like you that we are able to provide the information, resources and advocacy that is necessary to assist our scholars and parents in navigating the educational system. To that end, we are pleased to announce our 15th Annual Parent and Student Educational Symposium which serves as the catalyst to the start of the 2011-2012 academic school year. It is our hope that you will send representatives from your respective campuses/sites to serve as workshop facilitators and to be a part of the college/resource faire. This year we have changed the format to accommodate the needs of our participants and will have the college/resource faire operate throughout the entire day. In addition, we will have dynamic workshops for students grades 4 – 12 and parents.

 

Our keynote message will be delivered by Dr. Pedro Noguera renown lecturer, writer and leading authority on educational and achievement issues. We have attached a flyer for you to disseminate to your colleagues and list serves.
